Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment to ensure smooth operations.
• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse staff, providing clear direction, coaching, and performance feedback to foster a high-performing environment.
• Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners, ensuring safety protocols are strictly followed.
• Implement process improvements using lean management principles to enhance efficiency, reduce waste, and optimize workflow.
• Maintain accurate inventory records through warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management systems; conduct regular audits for accuracy.
• Coordinate logistics activities with carriers and transportation providers to ensure timely delivery and shipment schedules.
• Enforce safety standards in compliance with OSHA regulations, conducting safety training sessions and inspections regularly.

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management within distribution center operations.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, inventory control, logistics, and materials handling.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management systems, Microsoft Office suite, and RF scanners.
• Excellent team management skills with the ability to lead diverse teams effectively through managerial communication and team leadership.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and operate heavy machinery as required in warehouse environments.
• Familiarity with OSHA standards and best practices for warehouse safety compliance.

Pay: $3,250.00 - $3,800.00 per month
