Warehouse Supervisor

Key Responsibilities

• Provide hierarchical management and leadership to warehouse operators and operational teams.
• Manage employee performance, development, engagement, and disciplinary processes.
• Measure, analyze, and monitor warehouse performance indicators, including cost, budget, productivity, and service levels, while implementing corrective actions when required.
• Lead projects aimed at designing, improving, and optimizing warehouse processes.
• Ensure the effective implementation and sustainability of standard work practices within the warehouse.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy through cycle counting, stock reconciliation, and root cause analysis of inventory discrepancies.
• Oversee inbound, storage, replenishment, picking, packing, and outbound operations to achieve service level targets.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives utilizing Lean Warehousing, 5S, Kaizen, and problem-solving methodologies.
• Ensure full compliance with Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) standards and local regulatory requirements.
• Develop workforce planning, shift scheduling, and resource allocation strategies to meet operational demands efficiently.
• Monitor and manage warehouse KPIs, including productivity, inventory accuracy, order fulfillment, on-time shipments, space utilization, and safety performance.
• Collaborate closely with Production, Planning, Procurement, Customer Service, and Logistics teams to ensure seamless material flow.
• Lead warehouse digitalization and automation initiatives, including WMS enhancements, barcode scanning technologies, RF devices, and warehouse optimization tools.
• Ensure proper maintenance and utilization of material handling equipment, including forklifts, VNA trucks, reach trucks, conveyors, and other warehouse infrastructure.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of warehouse operations experience, including at least 2 years in a supervisory or team leadership role.
• Experience in warehouse layout design, slotting optimization, and storage capacity planning.
• Lean, Six Sigma, Kaizen, or Continuous Improvement certification is considered an advantage.
• Hands-on experience with SAP WM; this is a mandatory requirement.
• Good command of English, both written and verbal.
