Position Overview

Mildura Truck Centre is seeking an organised and hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the day-to-day operation of our Parts Department warehouse.

This is an important role within our Parts Department, responsible for ensuring incoming and outgoing parts are handled accurately and efficiently, stock is stored correctly, and the warehouse remains organised, safe and well managed.

We’re looking for someone who takes ownership of their area, has strong attention to detail and understands the importance of getting the right parts to the right place at the right time.

About the Role

Your responsibilities will include:

• Overseeing the day-to-day operation and organisation of the Parts Department warehouse.
• Receiving, checking and processing incoming parts and freight.
• Coordinating the picking, packing and dispatch of parts to customers, branches and internal departments.
• Ensuring incoming goods are accurately receipted and allocated to the correct stock locations.
• Maintaining accurate bin locations and ensuring parts are stored correctly and efficiently.
• Coordinating freight and courier movements, including preparation of consignments and associated documentation.
• Monitoring outstanding orders, backorders and incoming freight where required.
• Supporting inventory control and maintaining a high level of stock accuracy.
• Assisting with stocktakes, cycle counts and investigation of stock discrepancies.
• Maintaining a clean, organised and safe warehouse environment.
• Working closely with Parts Interpreters, the Service Department and other dealership departments to ensure parts are supplied efficiently.
• Identifying opportunities to improve warehouse processes, organisation and efficiency.

About You

Ideally, you will have:

• Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, inventory or logistics role.
• Experience supervising or coordinating the day-to-day activities of a warehouse or storeroom.
• Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Experience with receivals, dispatch, freight and inventory control.
• The ability to prioritise competing tasks in a busy environment.
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively with customers, suppliers and other departments.
• Sound computer skills and the ability to learn dealership and inventory management systems.
• A practical, hands-on approach and willingness to assist wherever required.

Previous experience within an automotive or machinery dealership environment would be advantageous.

This role requires both an Australian driver’s licence and forklift licence.
