Warehouse Supervisor – Roles & Responsibilities

• Warehouse Operations
• Supervise day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch.
• Ensure all electronic products are properly stored, labelled, and organized.
• Maintain proper warehouse layout and ensure easy identification of stock.
• Inventory Management
• Monitor and maintain accurate stock records for all electronic products and accessories.
• Conduct regular physical stock checks and periodic stock audits.
• Identify shortages, excess stock, damaged items, and discrepancies and report them to management.
• Ensure proper inward and outward entries are maintained.
• Goods Receiving & Inspection
• Verify incoming products against purchase orders, invoices, and delivery documents.
• Check product quantity, model, serial number, IMEI number, and physical condition.
• Report damaged, missing, or incorrect products immediately.
• Dispatch & Delivery Coordination
• Ensure products are picked and packed correctly as per sales orders.
• Coordinate with the sales and delivery teams for timely dispatch.
• Verify all items before dispatch to avoid wrong or missing products.
• Maintain proper dispatch documentation.
• Electronics Product Handling
• Ensure proper handling and storage of TVs, mobiles, laptops, appliances, accessories, and other electronic products.
• Take precautions to prevent physical damage, moisture exposure, theft, or mishandling.
• Maintain serial-number/IMEI-wise tracking wherever applicable.
• Team Supervision
• Assign daily tasks to warehouse staff and monitor their performance.
• Ensure staff follow warehouse procedures and safety guidelines.
• Train new employees on stock handling and warehouse processes.
• Monitor attendance, punctuality, productivity, and discipline of warehouse staff.
• Documentation & Reporting
• Maintain records of stock movement, inward/outward transactions, transfers, returns, and damaged goods.
• Prepare daily/weekly/monthly warehouse and inventory reports.
• Coordinate with accounts, purchase, sales, and management regarding stock-related issues.
• Returns & Damaged Stock
• Handle customer/vendor returns and ensure proper documentation.
• Segregate damaged, defective, demo, and saleable stock.
• Coordinate with service/warranty teams for defective electronic products.
• Warehouse Safety & Security
• Ensure the warehouse remains clean, organized, and secure.
• Monitor access to the warehouse and ensure unauthorized persons do not handle stock.
• Ensure CCTV, fire-safety measures, and other security procedures are followed.
• Management Coordination
• Report stock discrepancies, operational issues, and urgent requirements to management.
• Coordinate with purchase, sales, service, accounts, and logistics teams.
• Support management during stock audits and physical verification.

Key Responsibility

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for the overall control of warehouse inventory, proper handling of electronic products, accurate stock records, timely dispatches, team supervision, and prevention of stock loss or damage.

Pay: ₹15,000.00 - ₹25,000.00 per month
