Warehouse Supervisor

Job Responsibilities:

• Coordinate, and monitor all incoming and outgoing goods movements to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
• Supervise and guide Storekeepers, Storehands, Lorry Attendants, and other warehouse personnel in their daily activities.
• Ensure raw materials, packaging materials, components, finished goods, and other inventory are properly received, stored, identified, and issued according to established procedures.
• Ensure sufficient materials and packaging items are supplied to Production according to production schedules and requirements.
• Monitor warehouse space utilization and ensure storage areas are properly arranged, clean, organized, and maintained in good condition.
• Ensure proper stock rotation and inventory control practices such as FIFO / FEFO, where applicable.
• Maintain and verify stock cards, inventory records, system transactions, and other warehouse documentation on a daily basis.
• Conduct and coordinate regular stock counts, cycle counts, and physical inventory checks, and investigate any stock discrepancies.
• Ensure all materials and finished goods are correctly identified according to item codes, descriptions, specifications, quantities, and storage locations.
• Monitor and record recycled materials, rejected materials, returned materials, and other controlled items handled by the warehouse.
• Coordinate and monitor all incoming and outgoing deliveries according to delivery schedules and ensure proper supporting documentation is available.
• Verify that the quantity, item code, packaging, and condition of finished goods delivered to customers are correct and tally with Delivery Orders and other shipping documents.
• Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, Planning, Quality, Sales, and other relevant departments to ensure timely material supply and delivery.
• Ensure proper segregation and identification of accepted, rejected, quarantine, returned, and non-conforming materials.
• Ensure forklifts, lift trucks, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment are operated only by trained and authorized personnel, and arrange, monitor daily / weekly inspections of forklifts, lift trucks, and warehouse equipment to ensure they remain in safe and good working condition.
• Monitor warehouse manpower allocation and work distribution to ensure daily activities are completed efficiently.
• Provide training, guidance, and supervision to warehouse employees to improve work quality, productivity, safety awareness, and discipline.
• Assist in internal and external audits related to warehouse operations and ensure corrective actions are implemented where necessary.
• Identify warehouse operational issues and recommend improvements to inventory accuracy, storage utilization, material flow, safety, productivity, and delivery performance.
• Perform any other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Superior from time to time.

Pay: RM2,100.00 - RM3,200.00 per month

• Warehouse: 4 years (Required)
