Job Purpose

The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for managing day-to-day warehouse operations, maintaining accurate inventory records, ensuring proper storage and handling of materials, and coordinating timely issuance and dispatch of materials to projects, showrooms, and other company requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, issuing, and dispatching materials.
• Maintain accurate stock records and ensure physical stock matches system/records.
• Receive incoming materials and verify quantity, quality, and specifications against purchase orders or delivery documents.
• Properly organize and label materials for easy identification and retrieval.
• Ensure safe and proper handling of materials, tools, equipment, and finished products.
• Prepare and maintain GRNs, stock issue notes, delivery challans, and other warehouse documents.
• Monitor stock levels and inform management about low-stock, excess, damaged, or missing items.
• Conduct regular physical stock counts and support monthly/periodic inventory audits.
• Coordinate with Procurement, Accounts, Sales, Projects, and Showrooms regarding material requirements and availability.
• Ensure materials are issued only against proper authorization/documentation.
• Monitor loading and unloading activities and ensure materials are handled safely.
• Maintain warehouse cleanliness, discipline, and proper storage standards.
• Track damaged, expired, obsolete, or slow-moving stock and report it to management.
• Supervise warehouse helpers and assign daily tasks.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and safety procedures.
• Prepare daily/weekly stock and warehouse activity reports for management.
• Immediately report any stock discrepancy, loss, damage, or unauthorized movement of materials.
• Perform any other warehouse-related duties assigned by management.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum 3–5 years of experience in warehouse/inventory management, preferably in furniture, interiors, construction, manufacturing, or a related industry.
• Minimum Bachelor's degree or relevant diploma/certification.
• Strong knowledge of inventory control and warehouse operations.
• Good command of MS Excel and inventory/ERP software.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to supervise warehouse staff and manage multiple tasks.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Honest, responsible, disciplined, and detail-oriented.
• Ability to identify and resolve stock discrepancies.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet operational deadlines.

• Inventory accuracy and minimum stock discrepancies.
• Timely receiving and issuing of materials.
• Proper documentation of all warehouse transactions.
• Reduction of material damage, loss, and wastage.
• Proper warehouse organization and cleanliness.
• Timely fulfillment of material requests.
• Effective supervision and productivity of warehouse staff.
• Accurate and timely inventory reporting.

Working Schedule

Monday to Saturday
Working hours as per company policy.
