Warehouse Supervisor

About the role

Cooperteams Distribution Sdn Bhd is seeking a Warehouse Supervisor to join our operations team in Shah Alam, Selangor. This is a full-time position that plays a critical role in overseeing the efficient and safe operation of our warehouse facility. As Warehouse Supervisor, you will be responsible for managing daily warehouse activities, supervising staff, and ensuring that inventory, storage and distribution processes meet our high standards of quality and efficiency. This position is integral to our supply chain operations and directly impacts our ability to serve customers effectively.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise and manage warehouse staff, including scheduling, training, performance management and discipline
• Oversee receiving, storing and dispatching of goods to ensure accuracy and timeliness
• Maintain inventory records and conduct regular stock audits to ensure data accuracy
• Ensure compliance with health, safety and environmental regulations within the warehouse
• Monitor warehouse operations to identify inefficiencies and implement process improvements
• Coordinate with procurement, logistics and operations teams to optimize warehouse performance
• Manage warehouse maintenance, equipment upkeep and facility cleanliness standards
• Generate reports on warehouse activities, stock levels and key performance indicators
• Enforce security procedures and protect company assets
• Handle customer and supplier enquiries related to warehouse operations

What we're looking for

• Minimum 3–5 years' experience in warehouse operations or a similar supervisory role
• Proven experience in inventory management, stock control and warehouse logistics
• Strong leadership and team management skills with the ability to motivate and develop staff
• Proficiency in warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory software
• Knowledge of health, safety and environmental (HSE) standards in warehouse environments
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Physical fitness to perform warehouse duties when required
• A valid driving licence is preferred
• Formal qualifications in logistics, supply chain management or a related field are advantageous
