Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment.
• Lead and motivate a team of warehouse associates, fostering a collaborative environment focused on safety and productivity.
• Oversee the operation of material handling equipment such as forklifts and RF scanners to ensure efficient movement of goods.
• Implement process improvements aligned with lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce waste.
• Maintain accurate inventory records using warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory control techniques.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety protocols across all warehouse operations.
• Coordinate logistics activities with carriers, suppliers, and internal departments to meet delivery deadlines.
• Conduct regular audits of inventory levels and perform cycle counts to prevent discrepancies.
• Manage shipping & receiving processes, ensuring timely dispatches and receipt of goods while adhering to quality standards.

Experience

• Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management within a distribution center environment.
• Strong knowledge of warehouse distribution processes, logistics, and materials handling procedures.
• Hands-on experience operating forklifts, heavy lifting equipment, RF scanners, and other material handling tools.
• Familiarity with inventory management systems (such as WMS) and Microsoft Office applications for reporting and documentation.
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively through managerial communication skills and team leadership qualities.
• Experience implementing process improvements using lean management techniques is highly desirable.
• Prior exposure to shipping & receiving operations along with warehouse safety standards (OSHA compliance).
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
