Warehouse Supervisor

Seeking a hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to oversee the daily operations of our Virginia warehouse. This individual will lead a small team of approximately 4–5 warehouse employees and ensure that receiving, inventory management, order fulfillment, and shipping activities are completed accurately, safely, and efficiently.

The ideal candidate is a dependable, organized leader who can motivate a small team, establish clear expectations, solve day-to-day problems, and maintain a clean, safe, and productive work environment. This person must be comfortable working alongside the team while taking ownership of daily warehouse performance.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of warehouse employees.
• Establish clear expectations for safety, quality, productivity, attendance, and performance.
• Provide employee training, coaching, and feedback while addressing performance issues as needed.
• Oversee receiving, stocking, inventory control, picking, packing, shipping, and order fulfillment.
• Ensure customer orders are processed accurately and shipped on time.
• Monitor inventory accuracy and assist with cycle counts and inventory investigations.
• Organize daily workloads and allocate resources based on staffing and business needs.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse in accordance with company policies and procedures.
• Identify and resolve operational issues, errors, and delays.
• Look for practical opportunities to improve warehouse processes, efficiency, and accuracy.
• Work hands-on with the team to complete daily tasks and maintain workflow as needed.
• Communicate operational updates, staffing needs, and concerns to the Distribution Center Operations Manager.
• Perform other related duties as needed to support warehouse operations.

Qualifications & Skills

• 3+ years of experience in warehousing, distribution, or a related operational environment.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to set expectations, coach employees, and maintain accountability.
• Good problem-solving skills and the ability to manage competing priorities.
• Dependable, self-motivated, and willing to take ownership of daily operations.
• Comfortable working in a hands-on warehouse environment.
• Basic computer skills; experience with warehouse management systems or inventory software is a plus.
• Forklift experience or the ability to obtain required training and certification is preferred.

Pay: $65,000.00 per year
