Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary

We're looking for an organized, hands-on Warehouse Supervisor to support our Warehouse Manager with day-to-day operations. You'll own the check-in process for active productions, keep our paperwork and inventory in order, and track repairs.

You'll also keep communication flowing between the warehouse, Procurement, Sales, and production crews. This role suits someone who likes keeping a busy operation accurate and moving.

Responsibilities

• Manage the equipment check-in process for assigned productions, making sure returned gear is accurately received and accounted for.
• Verify that items marked as missing on Return Sheets are accurate.
• Build Lost & Damaged orders and notify the Warehouse Manager so they can follow up with production crews on pending items.
• Help the Warehouse Manager notify Sales when Lost & Damaged orders are ready to send to Production.
• Track all rental inventory in repair and follow up with Procurement on sending gear out for outside repair or ordering parts for in-house repair.
• Maintain organized physical files of Pick Lists, Out Contracts, and Return Sheets for all active orders.
• Plan ahead for daily pick lists, returns, and sub-rentals using the Quik Activity Calendar.
• Assign barcodes and tablets to Warehouse Associates when receiving purchased inventory.
• Coordinate the organization and layout of rental inventory throughout the warehouse.
• Assist with the physical count of rental inventory when needed.

Skills

• 2+ years of experience in a warehouse, rental house, or equipment logistics setting, with supervisory or lead experience preferred.
• Familiarity with lighting and grip equipment used in film, TV, or live entertainment is a strong plus.
• Experience with rental management software such as RentalWorks, or a demonstrated ability to learn new inventory systems quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and a track record of keeping records accurate.
• Clear, professional communication with coworkers across departments and with production crews.
• Ability to prioritize and adapt in a fast-paced environment with shifting deadlines.
• Ability to work on your feet in a warehouse environment.
