What they need
About us
RNLabs is an Australian-owned, Queensland-based company that has supported healthcare practitioners since 2008. We supply practitioner-only supplements, functional testing and education, and, through our TheraHealth company, serve retail customers. Our warehouse is central to everything we deliver.
About the role
We’re looking for an experienced Warehouse Supervisor to lead our warehouse team. You’ll make sure every practitioner and retail order goes out accurately, on time and safely.
This is a hands-on leadership role. You’ll be the on-the-ground manager for the warehouse team, including our Warehouse Team Lead. You’ll report to the Operations Manager on warehouse operations and work closely with our HR Manager on people matters. It’s a full-time position, based onsite at our Murarrie warehouse.
What you’ll do
Lead the warehouse
- Manage the team to meet dispatch, receiving and quality targets
- Set rosters, approve leave and plan workload
- Monitor order accuracy and timeliness, and fix recurring issues at the source
- Maintain and improve our warehouse procedures and SOPs
- Liaise with couriers and freight providers, and report on warehouse performance
Keep stock accurate
- Plan and run cycle counts and stocktakes
- Check incoming goods against purchase orders and report discrepancies
- Manage batch and expiry rotation (FEFO) and flag short-dated stock
- Keep stock locations and system records accurate
Develop your people
- Be the first point of contact for your team on everyday people matters
- Run inductions for new starters, regular one-on-ones and team meetings
- Coach and give feedback, including developing our Team Lead
- Resolve minor issues early, and work with our HR Manager on formal matters
Champion safety
- Lead WHS practices, including manual handling and safe equipment use
- Run workplace inspections, toolbox talks and WHS training
- Make sure incidents and near misses are reported promptly
About you
- At least 3 years' warehouse or logistics experience, including at least 2 years supervising or managing a team
- Proven ability to coach, motivate and hold a team accountable, and experience with stock control, cycle counts and inventory or ERP systems
- Experience handling people matters such as attendance, performance conversations, onboarding and resolving team conflict
- Sound working knowledge of WHS practices in a warehouse
- Calm, fair and confident in handling difficult conversations
- Strong organisational skills and ability to prioritise in a fast-paced environment
- Good written communication and computer skills (Microsoft 365)
- Discretion and sound judgement with confidential matters
- Certificate IV in Leadership and Management, Warehousing Operations or similar (desirable)
- Experience in health products, supplements, pharmaceuticals or other regulated goods (desirable)
