Warehouse Supervisor

Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, inventory management, order preparation, dispatch, and delivery coordination. The role ensures accurate inventory records, proper handling of goods, efficient warehouse processes, and compliance with company policies and safety standards.

Key Responsibilities

1. Warehouse Operations

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including receiving, checking, storing, picking, packing, and dispatching of goods.
• Ensure that all incoming and outgoing items are properly inspected and documented.
• Organize warehouse layout to maximize storage capacity and operational efficiency.
• Monitor the timely preparation and release of orders.

2. Inventory Management

• Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure alignment between physical stock and system records.
• Conduct regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits.
• Investigate inventory discrepancies, damages, shortages, and losses.
• Implement proper stock rotation and storage procedures, including FIFO (First In, First Out), where applicable.

3. Team Supervision

• Supervise, assign, and monitor the daily tasks of warehouse personnel.
• Prepare work schedules and ensure adequate staffing for warehouse activities.
• Train employees on warehouse procedures, inventory handling, and workplace safety.
• Monitor team productivity, attendance, and performance.

4. Logistics and Dispatch Coordination

• Coordinate with Sales, Finance, Purchasing, and Operations regarding order fulfillment and stock availability.
• Ensure accurate picking, packing, and dispatch of customer orders.
• Monitor delivery schedules and coordinate with drivers or third-party logistics providers.
• Escalate delays, delivery issues, and order discrepancies to management.

5. Safety and Compliance

• Ensure the warehouse is clean, organized, and compliant with workplace safety requirements.
• Enforce proper handling, storage, and movement of goods.
• Monitor warehouse equipment and report maintenance requirements.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable occupational safety standards.

6. Reporting and Process Improvement

• Prepare daily, weekly, and monthly reports on inventory, warehouse productivity, stock movement, and dispatch performance.
• Monitor warehouse operating costs and recommend cost-saving measures.
• Identify process inefficiencies and recommend improvements.
• Ensure proper documentation and filing of warehouse transactions.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field; relevant experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
• At least 3–5 years of experience in warehouse operations, inventory control, or logistics.
• Preferably 1–2 years of supervisory experience managing warehouse personnel.
• Knowledge of inventory management, stock reconciliation, order fulfillment, and warehouse documentation.
• Familiarity with FIFO, cycle counting, and physical inventory procedures.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and warehouse management or inventory systems.
• Strong leadership, organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• High level of integrity, accountability, and attention to detail.
• Willingness to work on-site and adjust working hours based on operational requirements, when necessary.

Pay: Php15,000.00 - Php32,000.00 per month
