Job Overview:
Warehouse Supervisor – Forklift Operations is responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities involving forklift operations, material handling, inventory movement, and warehouse personnel. The role ensures that goods are received, stored, transferred, and dispatched safely and efficiently while maintaining compliance with company policies, safety standards, and operational procedures.

Key Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily forklift and material-handling operations.
• Lead and monitor forklift operators and warehouse personnel to ensure efficient workflow.
• Ensure proper loading, unloading, stacking, transferring, and movement of goods within the warehouse.
• Monitor forklift operations and ensure proper handling of products and materials to prevent damage.
• Conduct regular checks on forklift equipment and coordinate maintenance or repair requirements.
• Ensure compliance with warehouse safety policies, SOPs, and proper forklift operating procedures.
• Monitor inventory movement and ensure accurate documentation of warehouse transactions.
• Coordinate with Logistics, Operations, Inventory, and other departments regarding warehouse requirements.
• Manage manpower allocation, work schedules, and daily task assignments.
• Monitor team productivity and provide coaching or corrective action when necessary.
• Ensure the warehouse is organized, clean, and maintained according to safety and operational standards.
• Prepare and submit daily/weekly operational reports as required.
• Assist in resolving operational issues, discrepancies, and other warehouse-related concerns.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Operations Management, or a related field is preferred.
• At least 2–3 years of warehouse experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in forklift operations, material handling, and warehouse management.
• Preferably with a valid forklift operator certification/license, depending on company requirements.
• Knowledge of warehouse safety standards, inventory processes, and material-handling procedures.
• Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Willing to work on shifting schedules, weekends, or holidays when required.
• Physically capable of working in a warehouse environment.
