Job Summary

The Warehouse Supervisor / Manager oversees daily warehouse operations, inventory control, material kitting, 5S standards, and outbound logistics for the manufacturing plant. Reporting to the PMC Manager and Plant Head, this role leads the warehouse team to maintain accurate ledger-to-stock alignment, ensure First-In, First-Out (FIFO) material execution, and drive storage space optimization.

Serving as a central operational link across PMC, Production, Procurement, Quality, and Logistics teams, you will oversee incoming material receiving, Kingdee ERP/WMS system transactions, material safety standards, and outbound shipping logistics to ensure seamless material availability for production lines.

Job Description:

  1. Daily Warehouse Operations & 5S Management
  • Workflow Oversight: Direct receiving, put-away, racking, material picking, staging, and outbound shipping workflows to meet daily operational targets.
  • 5S & Floor Standards: Enforce 5S workplace standards, designated storage zone partitioning, clear labeling, and unobstructed walkways to ensure clean, organized, and safe site conditions.
  • Equipment Management: Oversee warehouse material handling equipment (forklifts, reach trucks, barcode scanners), ensuring daily safety checks and preventive maintenance schedules.
  1. Inventory Governance & Material Control
  • Receiving & Quality Verification: Supervise incoming material acceptance, verifying part numbers, quantities, and batch codes against documentation; escalate anomalies immediately to IQC or Procurement.
  • FIFO & Defect Segregation: Enforce First-In, First-Out (FIFO) rotation policies, track slow-moving or obsolete stock, and manage non-conforming or defective material isolation areas.
  • Stock Accuracy & Audit: Organize monthly, quarterly, and annual physical inventory counts; reconcile ledger-to-stock variances and partner with PMC on material kitting completeness for line feeding.
  1. Documentation & ERP System Management
  • Transaction Execution: Ensure accurate and prompt entry of inbound, outbound, and internal transfer transactions within the ERP system (Kingdee ERP).
  • Reporting & Auditing: Maintain accurate material ledgers, compile stock movement statistics, process scrap or return paperwork, and submit daily/weekly inventory reports.
  1. Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) Compliance
  • Safety Protocols: Enforce warehouse safety standards covering fire prevention, safe forklift operation, load limits, and proper chemical/material storage conditions.
  • Hazard Audits & Training: Conduct regular safety inspections, investigate incidents, and deliver safety operational training to warehouse personnel.
  1. Cross-Functional Coordination & Continuous Improvement
  • Inter-Departmental Liaison: Partner with Production, PMC, Quality, and Procurement to resolve material discrepancies and line-stop risks.
  • Logistics Alignment: Coordinate with freight forwarders and transport vendors, manage finished goods loading schedules, and audit outbound shipping manifests.
  • Process Optimization: Optimize racking layouts and picking routes to increase space utilization, reduce transit time, and prevent mis-shipments.

Requirements

  • Academic Credentials: Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, or a related discipline.

  • Professional Tenure: Minimum 3 years of warehouse supervisory or management experience within a manufacturing or automotive component environment.

  • System Expertise: Hands-on proficiency with Enterprise Resource Planning platforms (Kingdee ERP or equivalent ERP/WMS systems) and Microsoft Office applications.

  • Leadership & Operations: Strong floor leadership capability, high safety compliance awareness, and a structured problem-solving mindset.
