Warehouse Supervisor / Team Lead (Electronic Components / Semicon Ind)

Our client is a leading global distributor of electronic components, serving customers across multiple industries through an extensive international supply chain network. The company operates a large-scale distribution environment in Singapore, supported by advanced warehouse systems and processes to ensure efficient inventory management and timely order fulfilment.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including receiving, put-away, picking, packing and outbound activities.
• Lead and manage a team of Warehouse Assistants to ensure smooth and efficient day-to-day operations.
• Monitor manpower deployment and allocate resources according to operational requirements.
• Ensure all incoming and outgoing goods are accurately checked, processed and recorded.
• Maintain high inventory accuracy through regular stock checks, cycle counts and proper warehouse practices.
• Ensure proper storage, handling and identification of electronic components and other inventory.
• Monitor order fulfilment and ensure customer orders are processed accurately and within the required timelines.
• Ensure warehouse activities are carried out in accordance with established SOPs, safety requirements and quality standards.
• Monitor team productivity and operational performance, identifying areas for improvement where required.
• Work closely with internal departments to resolve operational and inventory-related issues.
• Assist in investigating stock discrepancies, damages and other warehouse issues.
• Provide on-the-job guidance and training to warehouse staff.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives to improve warehouse efficiency and minimise operational errors.
• Prepare basic operational reports and update management on warehouse activities and issues.
• Perform any other duties and ad-hoc tasks as assigned by the management.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent qualification in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related discipline.
• Minimum 3 years of relevant warehouse or logistics experience, with supervisory experience preferred.
• Experience in a warehouse/distribution centre environment is highly preferred.
• Experience managing or supervising a team of warehouse staff.
• Able to work in a fast-paced warehouse environment and manage multiple priorities.
• Candidates with experience handling electronic components or high-SKU inventory will have an added advantage.
