Warehouse Supervisor/Forklift Operator

Join our dynamic team as a Warehouse Supervisor and Forklift Operator, where you will lead daily warehouse operations with energy and precision. This role is vital in ensuring smooth distribution center functions, optimizing inventory control, and maintaining a safe, efficient environment. As a key player in logistics and materials handling, you will oversee team performance, coordinate shipping and receiving activities, and implement process improvements that drive operational excellence.

Starting hours : 08:00AM - 03:30PM

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily warehouse activities, including shipping, receiving, inventory management, and order fulfillment to ensure timely and accurate operations
• Operate forklift and other material handling equipment safely to move goods within the warehouse efficiently
• Manage inventory control processes using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to maintain accurate stock levels
• Lead and motivate warehouse staff, providing clear managerial communication and fostering a collaborative team environment
• Implement process improvements aligned with lean management principles to enhance workflow efficiency and reduce waste
• Ensure compliance with OSHA regulations and safety standards during all warehouse operations
• Coordinate logistics activities with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to optimize distribution center operations

Requirements

• Proven experience in warehouse supervision or management within a distribution center environment
• Valid forklift certification with hands-on experience operating material handling equipment
• Demonstrated ability to lead teams effectively, with excellent managerial communication skills
• Familiarity with warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, materials handling, heavy lifting, and distribution processes
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards and best practices for warehouse safety compliance
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as heavy lifting regularly throughout the shift (Minimum of 50lbs)

Pay: From $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
