Warehouse Systems Setup Assistant

We’re looking for a reliable and practical person to join our team in a varied part-time role supporting our warehouse, locker setups and ongoing maintenance.

This would suit someone who enjoys hands-on warehouse work, is comfortable with computers and technology, and is willing to learn. No previous experience is required, as training will be provided.

About the Role

You’ll assist with the preparation, movement, configuration and setup of locker systems before they are sent to sites across Australia and New Zealand.

The role includes a mixture of warehouse work, basic computer configuration, electrical/solar equipment, tools and occasional work alongside our installation and service teams.

Typical duties will include:

• Moving and organising stock within the warehouse using manual pallet jacks
• Preparing lockers and associated equipment for upcoming installations
• Connecting and setting up locker components
• Installing software and configuration files onto Windows PCs
• Assisting with basic testing and troubleshooting of PCs and locker equipment
• Working with solar panels, batteries and associated equipment
• Conducting stocktakes and inventory checks
• Receiving, checking and organising incoming stock
• Using common hand and power tools, including drills, hammers and screwdrivers
• Working from safety/platform ladders when required
• Assisting with preventive maintenance and servicing of existing locker systems
• Providing basic customer/service support relating to our systems
• Keeping the warehouse and work areas organised and safe

About You

We’re not looking for someone with years of experience. We’re looking for someone who is reliable, willing to learn and comfortable getting involved in a range of different tasks.

You would ideally be:

• Comfortable using Windows computers
• Practical and confident using basic tools
• Able to follow instructions and technical procedures
• Comfortable performing physical and hands-on work
• Able to safely move and handle equipment
• Comfortable working at low heights using an appropriate safety ladder
• Organised and able to keep track of stock and equipment
• Reliable and able to work independently when required
• Comfortable communicating with team members
• Interested in technology, electronics or mechanical equipment
• Willing to learn new systems and troubleshooting skills

16 hours per week across 2 days.

There may occasionally be opportunities to assist with installations, service visits or other project work depending on workload.

Pay: $27.00 – $32.00 per hour

Expected hours: 16.0 per week
