Summary/Objective

This position requires a hands-on Team Lead to complete general warehouse duties, with a proven track record of communicating and working safely. This position will assist the Shift Supervisor in making sure that productivity is high, and tasks are complete. This role also requires high energy, positive individual who wants to develop future skills.

Essential Functions

· Using forklift to load, unload and pick product.

· Hands-on, safe use of equipment in handling.

· Storing, maintaining, and shipping tires. (Requires lifting)

· Must be able to lift to 50lbs depending on tire size.

· Provide support and training to team members.

· Enforce Safety procedures on the warehouse floor.

· Be able to communicate with team and provide direction and or tasks.

· Work with Supervisor to meet production schedule needs.

· Promote positive culture change.

· Understand and communicate KPI / targets to the employees.

· Back up Supervisor / Manager

Skills and Qualifications

Ability to communicate effectively. Ability to work in a team environment. Be able to work independently and stand for 8 hours. Able to train, read and write reports. Be confident to back up Supervisor / Manager.

Required Education and Experience

High School or G.E.D. Strong communication and the ability to follow instructions/direction. Minimum of 3 years of warehouse experience. Previous tire experience is an asset.

Pay: $25.00-$26.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
