Responsibilities

• Operate various warehouse equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, cranes, and order pickers to load, unload, stock, and move materials efficiently.
• Assist with inventory control by conducting regular stock counts, updating inventory management software (such as AS400 or Warehouse Management System), and ensuring accurate record-keeping.
• Support shipping and receiving activities by preparing shipments, verifying orders with picking & packing procedures, and ensuring proper labeling and documentation.
• Handle materials safely using manual handling techniques and adhere strictly to OSHA safety regulations and company safety protocols.
• Maintain a clean and organized warehouse environment by stocking shelves properly and ensuring all materials are stored securely using appropriate PPE (Personal Protective Equipment).
• Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet daily operational goals related to order fulfillment, load & unload tasks, and logistics coordination.
• Follow all safety procedures diligently during heavy equipment operation and materials handling to prevent accidents or injuries.

Requirements

• Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, pallet jacks, cranes or order pickers is highly preferred.
• Strong understanding of warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, inventory management software (e.g., AS400), and warehouse management systems.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely and efficiently while adhering to OSHA safety standards.
• Basic math skills for counting inventory, verifying shipments, and processing orders accurately.
• Excellent manual handling skills combined with a focus on safety protocol adherence in fast-paced environments.
• Previous warehouse experience or warehouse supervisor experience is a plus but not mandatory; willingness to learn is essential.
• Technical proficiency with material handling equipment operation and inventory control systems is highly desirable.
• Good communication skills to work effectively within a team environment focused on logistics excellence.

Pay: $23.70 - $28.54 per hour
