What you'll be doing

• Ensure the safe handling and care of customers orders through management of the delivery teams
• Ensure that the Company’s Health & Safety Policies are rigorously applied
• Responsible for ensuring the warehouse area is kept clean and tidy at all times and freestock displays are maintained• Key holder responsibility for the store and accountable for the safe storage and security of stock at all times
• Compliance with the Company’s policies and directives
• Establish a good working relationship with Retail Managers
• To achieve excellence in customer service from delivery teams
• To lead, coach, develop and motivate the driving teams and manage attendance and performance where necessary
• To communicate with the CDC Management team on a daily basis maintaining strong relationships
• Maintain standards of regulatory compliance for 7.5t delivery fleet
• Maintain high customer NPS through delivery crews
• Motivate drivers to strive towards safe and efficient driving using Microlise
• Ensure any returning stock is correctly wrapped and labelled with clear instructions where necessary
• Ensure all recyclable materials are separated accordingly prior to returning to CDC and any general waste is disposedof on site

The role is for you if...

• Customer Service experience
• Professional conduct at all times when representing the Company to its customers and staff
• Smart and presentable appearance at all times.
• Capable of managing poor performance and encouraging great performance.

• Experience in customer service
• Be physically fit and be able to lift and carry furniture
