What they need
Warehouse / Technician AssociateCompany Description
Elite Audio Visual Elements, Inc. is a full-service audio visual and live event production company providing professional production services for concerts, touring productions, corporate events, conferences, festivals, and special events.
Our team supports productions from the warehouse to the event site, providing the equipment, technical expertise, logistics, and personnel necessary to execute successful live events. We work in a fast-paced industry where organization, teamwork, professionalism, attention to detail, and reliability are essential.
Elite AV is seeking individuals who take pride in their work, understand the importance of properly maintaining professional production equipment, and are willing to contribute wherever needed to help our team deliver exceptional service to our clients.
Job Description
Elite Audio Visual Elements, Inc. is seeking a dependable and motivated Warehouse / Technician Associate to join our production team.
This is a hands-on, dual-role position supporting both our warehouse operations and live event production needs. The Warehouse / Technician Associate will assist with preparing, organizing, testing, maintaining, loading, transporting, and returning professional audio visual equipment used for concerts, tours, corporate events, and other live productions.
Daily warehouse responsibilities include pulling and preparing equipment for upcoming productions, checking equipment before it leaves the warehouse, receiving and processing returned equipment, maintaining inventory organization, loading and unloading trucks, and keeping the warehouse clean and production-ready.
As a technician associate, this individual may also assist our production team with equipment delivery, event setup, operation, breakdown, and return. This may include working with professional audio, lighting, video, staging, cabling, and related production equipment.
Because live event production does not always operate within traditional business hours, candidates should understand that some assignments may require early mornings, evenings, weekends, extended hours depending on the production schedule.
Primary Responsibilities
- Pull, prepare, pack, and stage AV equipment for scheduled productions and events.
- Load and unload trucks, vans, trailers, and other company vehicles.
- Check equipment against production orders and equipment lists to help ensure orders are complete and accurate.
- Inspect and test equipment before deployment.
- Receive, inspect, clean, organize, and properly store equipment following productions.
- Maintain an organized warehouse and ensure equipment is returned to its designated location.
- Assist with inventory counts and equipment tracking.
- Identify and report damaged, missing, or malfunctioning equipment.
- Assist with basic troubleshooting and preparation of audio visual equipment.
- Properly coil, organize, label, and store cables and other production accessories.
- Handle professional production equipment carefully and responsibly.
- Assist technicians with equipment preparation and production-related tasks.
- Assist with on-site event setup and breakdown when scheduled.
- Follow company safety procedures when handling, moving, loading, and unloading equipment.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and professional warehouse environment.
- Work cooperatively with warehouse personnel, technicians, production staff, logistics personnel, and management.
- Perform additional warehouse, technical, and production-related duties as assigned.
Job Requirements & QualificationsRequired
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
- Dependable and punctual with a strong attendance record.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to follow equipment lists, instructions, and established warehouse procedures.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment where priorities may change based on production schedules.
- Ability to safely lift, carry, push, and move production equipment and road cases.
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical warehouse duties for extended periods.
- Willingness to learn professional audio visual equipment and live production procedures.
- Ability to communicate professionally with coworkers, supervisors, clients, and production personnel.
- Willingness to work occasional evenings, weekends, early mornings, extended hours, and event schedules when required.
- Ability to maintain a professional attitude and appearance when representing Elite AV at client locations and event venues.
Preferred Qualifications
- Previous warehouse, audiovisual, event production, equipment rental, staging, or entertainment industry experience.
- Familiarity with professional audio, lighting, video, or live production equipment.
- Experience loading and unloading production trucks or handling road cases.
- Basic knowledge of cable management, equipment setup, signal flow, or AV troubleshooting.
- Experience with inventory or equipment management systems.
- Previous experience working concerts, corporate events, festivals, conferences, touring productions, or similar live events.
- Forklift or material-handling experience is a plus.
- Ability and willingness to travel for productions when needed is a plus.
Ideal Candidate
The ideal candidate is someone who is reliable, organized, hardworking, and interested in the live event and audiovisual production industry. We are looking for someone who does not need to be constantly reminded of what needs to be done, takes responsibility for their work, respects company equipment, and understands that every position within the warehouse contributes directly to the success of our productions.
This position is an excellent opportunity for someone with warehouse experience who wants to learn the audiovisual industry or an entry-level AV technician looking to gain additional hands-on experience with professional production equipment.
