Warehouse Technician

Coker Feed Mill is a small but growing family-owned operation looking to make a big impact on the industry in our region. We manufacture the best value commercial textured feeds for backyard and family farms and small to mid-sized stables.

We are in need of weekend help to assist with Saturday order fulfillment, as well as maintenance and cleanliness of the facility.

Job Requirements:

Warehouse Fulfillment

• Rotate and organize mill and resale products
• Apprise Store and Mill Manager of low-inventory items
• Maintain front-warehouse stock for small-ticket orders
• Fulfill Walk-In Customer orders (B2C)
• Fulfill reseller orders (B2B)
• Accurately pull and load walk-in customer tickets
• Make sure products are clean, tagged & identifiable, etc.
• Palletize and wrap orders as needed
• Confirm order with customer during or before loading
• Unload trucks and confirm BOL's
• Make sure products are clean, tagged & identifiable, etc
• Communicate with Store about irregularities (out-of-stock, special order, etc)

Warehouse Maintenance and Cleanliness

• Patrol warehouse and mill area to maintain clean and orderly working conditions
• Clean up spilled feed items immediately
• Consolidate and repair pallets; load pallet dispenser
• Keep floors clear of trash (plastic wrap, tags, splintered wood, etc.)
• Clear full trash cans and move irreparable or unusable pallets outside
• Other duties as needed
