Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse management systems and inventory management software to track stock levels, process shipments, and update records accurately.
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using order pickers, pallet jacks, and other equipment such as forklifts when certified.
• Load and unload trucks efficiently, ensuring proper handling of goods in compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain organized stock areas through stocking, shelving, and replenishing inventory to support seamless warehouse distribution.
• Assist with shipping & receiving tasks by verifying shipments against documentation and preparing items for dispatch.
• Utilize data entry skills to update ERP systems like AS400 or MRP software for order processing and inventory updates.
• Support trade compliance by adhering to international trade regulations during shipping logistics activities.
• Provide excellent customer service by accurately fulfilling orders and addressing any discrepancies or issues promptly.

Experience

• Prior experience working in warehouse operations or distribution centers is preferred but not mandatory; training will be provided.
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems such as AS400 is advantageous.
• Basic math skills are essential for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, or order pickers is a plus; certification is required if operating powered equipment.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to perform data entry efficiently and maintain detailed records.
• Knowledge of shipping logistics, order fulfillment processes, and trade compliance regulations enhances your effectiveness in this role.
• Excellent communication skills to collaborate with team members and support customer service initiatives.
