Duties

• Safely load and unload shipments using appropriate equipment such as forklifts and manual handling techniques
• Organize and stock materials in designated warehouse areas with precision and care
• Operate warehouse management systems to track inventory levels, update stock records, and process transactions accurately
• Pick and pack orders meticulously to meet customer specifications and delivery deadlines
• Conduct quality control checks to ensure products meet company standards before shipping or storage
• Assist with shipping and receiving activities by verifying shipment contents, preparing documentation, and coordinating with carriers
• Perform routine mechanical inspections of equipment, troubleshoot issues, and report maintenance needs promptly

Skills

• Proven experience in materials handling, stocking, picking & packing within a warehouse setting
• Valid forklift certification and ability to operate forklifts safely and efficiently
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS) for inventory tracking and order processing
• Strong knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures to ensure accurate deliveries
• Mechanical knowledge to perform basic repairs or troubleshoot equipment issues
• Ability to lift heavy loads consistently while maintaining proper safety protocols
• Excellent organizational skills with keen attention to detail for quality control tasks

Pay: £25,420.00-£40,248.20 per year

Work Location: In person
