Job Summary

Responsibilities

• Receive, unload, and load shipments using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other equipment to ensure safe handling of goods.
• Perform accurate picking and packing of orders using order picker tools and inventory management software to meet customer specifications.
• Maintain precise inventory records through data entry in warehouse management systems (WMS), ERP systems, and AS400 platforms.
• Conduct regular stock checks, cycle counts, and audits to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies promptly.
• Prepare shipments by packaging products securely according to shipping & receiving standards while adhering to trade compliance and international trade regulations.
• Assist with warehouse distribution activities by organizing stock in designated areas for easy access and efficient order fulfillment.
• Support shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, managing shipping documentation, and ensuring timely dispatch of goods.
• Follow safety protocols during load & unload procedures, operate equipment like forklifts and pallet jacks responsibly, and report any hazards or incidents immediately.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing internal requests for inventory information or order status updates professionally.

Qualifications

• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or distribution center is highly preferred.
• Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, ERP systems, and MS Office applications.
• Ability to perform basic math calculations accurately for inventory counts, measurements, and order processing.
• Valid certification for forklift operation; experience with trade compliance or international trade regulations is a plus.
• Strong data entry skills with high attention to detail to ensure accurate recordkeeping.
• Knowledge of shipping logistics, order picking & packing procedures, and stock control methods.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and operate warehouse equipment such as pallet jacks confidently.

Pay: $25.03 - $30.14 per hour
