Warehouse Worker

About the role

The Warehouse Worker / Records Handler is responsible for accurate handling, storage, retrieval, and tracking of records and archive boxes within the warehouse. The role ensures records are managed securely, efficiently, and in compliance with company policies, customer requirements, and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, sort, and label incoming records and archive boxes for storage.
• Accurately update and maintain records in the inventory or records management system.
• Safely move, store, and retrieve record storage boxes using appropriate equipment and handling techniques.
• Process internal and external record retrieval and delivery requests in a timely manner.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and secure warehouse environment.
• Perform routine inventory checks and support periodic audits to ensure record accuracy.
• Identify and prepare records that have reached their retention period for secure destruction in accordance with company procedures.
• Handle confidential and sensitive information with the highest level of security and integrity.
• Comply with all warehouse safety, security, and operational procedures.
• Support the supervisor and team in achieving operational targets and service level requirements.

About you

• Minimum SPM qualification or equivalent.
