Responsibilities

• Operate equipment such as forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, and RF scanners to load, unload, and move inventory safely and efficiently
• Assist with order picking and packing using warehouse management systems (WMS) and RF scanners to ensure accurate order fulfillment
• Stock shelves, organize inventory, and maintain proper storage of products in designated areas
• Prepare shipments by packaging items securely and verifying orders through order picker tools and basic math calculations
• Manage shipping & receiving tasks by inspecting incoming goods, recording data in AS400 or MRP systems, and ensuring timely dispatch of outgoing shipments
• Support warehouse distribution activities by loading and unloading trucks with proper safety procedures
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to promote a safe working environment

Experience

• Prior experience working in a warehouse or distribution center is preferred but not required; on-the-job training will be provided
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, or MRP software is a plus
• Hands-on experience operating forklifts, reach trucks, pallet jacks, or similar equipment is highly desirable; certification is preferred
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing processes, and stock management techniques is beneficial
• Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and calculations are necessary
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety guidelines and standard operating procedures
