Responsibilities

• Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels, process orders, and update records accurately.
• Pick, pack, and prepare customer orders using order picker equipment, pallet jacks, and other tools to ensure timely shipment.
• Load and unload shipments efficiently while adhering to safety protocols using forklifts and other handling equipment.
• Maintain organized stock levels through stocking, inventory management, and regular stock checks to prevent discrepancies.
• Prepare shipments by packaging products securely in compliance with shipping & receiving standards and trade compliance regulations.
• Collaborate with logistics teams to coordinate shipping schedules, manage international trade regulations when applicable, and ensure timely delivery.
• Perform data entry tasks related to order processing, shipment tracking, and inventory updates with accuracy and attention to detail.
• Support warehouse distribution activities by assisting with order fulfillment, inventory audits, and warehouse operations optimization.
• Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures while maintaining a clean, organized work environment.

Experience

• Prior experience working in a warehouse environment or in logistics is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with warehouse operations including shipping & receiving, stocking, picking & packing, and order fulfillment.
• Proficiency in using warehouse management systems (such as ERP systems or AS400) and inventory management software.
• Basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately.
• Experience operating forklifts or pallet jacks is advantageous; certification is a plus.
• Strong data entry skills combined with knowledge of Microsoft Office tools for reporting purposes.
• Knowledge of international trade regulations and trade compliance is beneficial but not mandatory.
• Excellent organizational skills with an eye for detail to ensure accuracy in inventory management and order processing.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment while maintaining safety standards at all times.

Pay: $16.00 - $18.50 per hour
