Warehouse Worker

Duties

• Receive, unload, and inspect incoming shipments using RF scanners and pallet jacks to ensure accuracy and integrity of goods
• Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment with precision, utilizing order picker equipment and inventory management software
• Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment in compliance with safety protocols
• Maintain accurate records of inventory levels through data entry into warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP software
• Organize stock in designated areas, ensuring proper stocking, labeling, and packaging to optimize warehouse distribution efficiency
• Assist with shipping logistics by coordinating with carriers, preparing shipping documents, and ensuring compliance with trade regulations and trade compliance standards
• Conduct regular inventory counts, reconcile discrepancies, and update inventory management software to support accurate stock levels

Requirements

• Prior experience in warehouse operations or related logistics roles preferred but not mandatory; training provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP is highly desirable
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely; certification is a plus but not required
• Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities accurately
• Excellent data entry skills combined with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications for record keeping and reporting purposes
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures along with international trade regulations is advantageous
• Customer service orientation to effectively communicate with team members and external partners in a fast-paced environment
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods, lift heavy items safely, and perform repetitive tasks efficiently

Pay: $25.27 - $28.02 per hour
