Warehouse Worker

Responsibilities

• Efficiently pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipment using order picker, RF scanner, and pallet jack tools
• Load and unload trucks safely using forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment
• Maintain accurate inventory records through data entry into inventory management software and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP systems
• Conduct stock stocking, packaging, and order fulfillment activities to ensure timely delivery
• Manage shipping logistics by preparing shipping labels, verifying trade compliance, and coordinating international trade regulations when necessary
• Support warehouse operations by organizing storage areas, conducting cycle counts, and updating inventory management systems
• Provide excellent customer service by accurately processing orders and responding to internal requests promptly

Qualifications

• Prior experience in warehouse operations or distribution centers preferred but not required; training provided for the right candidate
• Familiarity with warehouse management systems (WMS), inventory management software, and ERP systems such as AS400 or MRP is highly desirable
• Ability to operate forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently; forklift certification is a plus
• Strong basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying shipments
• Excellent data entry skills with attention to detail to ensure accurate record keeping
• Knowledge of shipping & receiving procedures, order picking & packing processes, and trade compliance regulations
• Good communication skills with a customer service-oriented mindset
