Warehouse Worker

Job Summary

We are seeking a detail-oriented Warehouse Laborer and Quality Assurance professional to ensure the integrity and quality of our products within a fast-paced furniture distribution environment. This role involves selecting orders using an RF scanner while safely operating an electric pallet jack and stock picker, performing quality inspections, maintaining compliance with industry standards, and supporting warehouse operations. The ideal candidate will have strong teamwork skills, excellent attendance, familiarity with quality control systems, and prior experience with material handling equipment.

Duties

• Safely operate equipment such as a ride-on electric pallet jack, stock picker, stand-up forklift, and sit-down clamp truck.
• Select cartons of knock-down wooden furniture.
• Process orders for shipping.
• Maintain a clean work area.
• Conduct quality control inspections.
• Support manufacturing operations by ensuring products meet quality standards through visual inspection and functional testing.
• Participate in internal and external quality audits to verify adherence to regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to address quality issues promptly and effectively.
• Unload shipments

Experience

• Proven experience in warehouse environments, with a focus on order selection.
• Knowledge of QA/QC procedures, including conducting audits, inspections, and implementing corrective actions.

Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
