Reports to the Warehouse manager.
Controlling all stock deliveries and stock movement within the warehouse department
JOB RESPONSBLITIES :

• Responsibility to proactively check stock levels within in each stock area
• Check all food deliveries to ensure stock is to standard
• Check all delivery vehicles to ensure they are to approved standard
• Promote and contribute to the continuous improvement culture and ensure they make a positive contribution to the running of the business
• Promote a positive health and safety culture / programme
• Attend meetings whenever required.

MAIN DUTIES

• Health and Safety – ensure that safe and established working practises are followed by personnel at all times. Where there are H&S issues, these should be immediately reported to the Warehouse Manager.
• Operational Issues – Checking in goods confirming the quality standard and weight when delivered.
• The safe operation of the forklift at all times
• Picking orders and notifying production of any short falls
• Boxing up orders and storing new stock correctly
• Monitoring stock levels on a weekly basis
• Controlling stock rotation at all times
• Implementing GMP in all areas at all times
• Controlling packaging stock levels are maintained and placing orders when required
• Transport and temperature checks to be controlled by the warehouse operative
• At quiet times and whenever requested to help out in the production area

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, competent using a PC – word and excel
• Meeting attendance standard
• Good code of conduct applied to all inhouse and visitors to site
• Work closely with team members and communicate with other members of the Company

• Be able to understand the needs and advice from other team members
• Have a positive input into new ideas as a group
• Promote a positive culture throughout the teams

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED Experience working in a similar role

• Attention to detail and accuracy is imperative
• Proactive and flexible approach to work
• Ability to work under pressure within tight time scales
• Promote a positive culture within the business
• Level 2 Award in Food Safety hygiene for Manufacturing
