Warehouse Worker (Entry Level)

Duties

• Assist with the loading and unloading of shipments using equipment such as pallet jacks, forklifts, cherry pickers, and reach trucks while adhering to safety protocols.
• Perform stock stocking, order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving tasks efficiently to meet daily operational goals.
• Operate warehouse management systems (WMS) and inventory management software to track stock levels accurately.
• Conduct manual handling of materials, ensuring proper lifting techniques and use of personal protective equipment (PPE) to prevent injuries.
• Support inventory control efforts through regular cycle counts and inventory management activities using systems like AS400 and warehouse management systems.
• Maintain a clean, safe workspace by following OSHA safety regulations and safety protocol adherence at all times.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize warehouse operations, including load & unload procedures and order fulfillment processes.

Qualifications

• Basic math skills for inventory counting, measurements, and data entry tasks.
• Experience or familiarity with warehouse operations such as order picking, packing, shipping & receiving is preferred but not required; training will be provided.
• Ability to operate heavy equipment including forklifts, reach trucks, crane, cherry picker, pallet jacks, and material handling equipment safely.
• Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational skills for inventory management and stock control.
• Willingness to learn technical proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS), AS400, and inventory management software.
• Demonstrated commitment to safety regulations including OSHA standards and PPE use during all tasks involving heavy lifting or materials handling.
• Physical ability to perform heavy lifting and manual handling tasks throughout the shift in a fast-paced environment.

Pay: $29.04 per hour
