WAREHOUSE OPERATIVE (CROYDON) – £12.71/hr (SELF-EMPLOYED)

Are you a reliable and hardworking individual looking for a rewarding role in a fast-paced warehouse environment? We are currently seeking a Warehouse Operative to join our team in Croydon on a self-employed basis.

PAY & HOURS:

• £12.71 per hour (self-employed)
• 8-hour shifts – mixed shifts during the week as per rota
• AM shift: 6:00 AM – 2:00 PM
• PM shift: 1:00 PM – 9:00 PM

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Receiving and Handling Goods:

• Unloading deliveries and checking for accuracy and damages.

• Signing for deliveries and reporting discrepancies.

• Stock Management:

• Storing goods in the correct location.

• Conducting regular stock checks and maintaining accurate records.

• Order Picking and Packing:

• Picking and packing customer orders accurately and efficiently.

• Labelling and securing goods for dispatch.

• Computer Work:

• Updating stock levels and processing orders using warehouse management software.

• Inputting data and tracking inventory using computer systems.

• General Warehouse Duties:

• Keeping the warehouse clean and organised.

• Following health and safety regulations.

• Operating machinery such as forklifts and pallet jacks (if certified).

• WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

• Previous warehouse experience preferred but not essential.

• Basic computer skills and experience with stock systems.

• Good attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Flexible to work mixed shifts (including weekends).

• Reliable, hardworking, and a team player.
