Duties

• Safely operate heavy equipment including reach trucks, forklifts, cherry pickers, cranes, and pallet jacks to load, unload, and move materials within the warehouse.
• Manage inventory control through accurate stock counting, order picking, packing, and shipping & receiving processes using inventory management software and warehouse management systems.
• Assist with stocking shelves, organizing materials, and maintaining a clean and safe work environment following OSHA safety regulations and safety protocol adherence.
• Drive company vehicles to deliver products to designated locations while adhering to all traffic laws and safety standards.
• Conduct manual handling of materials with proper techniques for heavy lifting and mechanical knowledge of material handling equipment operation.
• Support warehouse management by participating in inventory audits, cycle counts, and reporting discrepancies or damages promptly.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) during all tasks to maintain a safe workplace environment.

Skills

• Proven experience operating warehouse equipment such as reach trucks, forklift trucks, cherry pickers, cranes, pallet jacks, and order pickers.
• Strong understanding of warehouse distribution processes including order fulfillment, stocking, packaging, shipping & receiving.
• Familiarity with inventory management software and warehouse management systems like AS400 or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of safety regulations including OSHA standards and proper use of PPE for heavy lifting and materials handling.
• Mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot basic mechanical issues related to heavy equipment operation.
• Excellent manual handling skills combined with basic math proficiency for inventory counting and measurements.
• Previous experience in warehouse supervision or logistics roles is preferred but not required; willingness to learn is essential.

Pay: $14.00 - $18.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 – 45.0 per week
