Warehouse Worker/Material Delivery

Job Summary

Ultra NorWest Inc. is a growing construction company locally owned and operated specializing in contamination remediation, civil, and fuel station maintenance. We have an immediate need for a full-time qualified warehouse worker in Bellingham/Lynden, WA. Applicants will be stocking, shipping, and inventorying construction materials. Staging incoming and outgoing project materials to include picking up from manufacture and delivering to site occasionally.

Responsibilities

· Picking, packaging, staging, and delivering project equipment/materials.

· Verifying incoming orders to PO’s.

· Communicating received shipments/picked up orders and backorders.

· Inventorying stocked materials, reporting Mins/Max stock limits.

· Maintain cleanliness and organization of warehouse.

· Cleaning and greasing equipment between projects.

Job Requirements:

· Experience working in the warehouse environment with inventorying, picking, packing, and delivering experience (preferred).

· Previous experience operating a forklift.

· Ability to spend 8+ hours walking, standing, and lifting.

· Self-motivated during times between guided instruction.

· Ability to lift/move up to 75 lbs.

· Working knowledge/experience with computers.

· Clear and concise communicator.

· Safety oriented.

Education/Experience

· High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.

· Forklift experience is required; current certification (preferred).

· Must be able to work independently.

· Experience in pulling and maneuvering a trailer.

· HAZWOPER 40 (Preferred).

· 21 years old with valid driver’s license is required for this position; Enhanced ID or Passport preferred.

· Having a clean driving record is required for this position.

· Commercial Driver’s License (Preferred).

· Applicants being mechanically inclined preferred.

Additional Information:

· If selected for an interview, a forklift proficiency test will be administered.

· We require an MVR to be pulled and reviewed upon acceptance of employment offer.

· Pre-employment drug test will be administered.

Pay: $18.00 - $24.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
