Title : Warehouse/Complaint Investigations

Location : Alameda, CA, 100% Onsite

Duration : 5+ months

Shift Timings: 5:00am - 1:30pm PST Summary

• This role combines warehouse operations with technical complaint investigations in a regulated environment.
• The technician is responsible for handling incoming product, maintaining inventory accuracy, and supporting investigation of returned medical devices.

Responsibilities

• Minimum 1 year of warehouse experience preferred
• Operate pallet jack and forklift (certification provided)
• Unpack boxes and transport materials to designated storage areas (up to 50 lbs)
• Maintain inventory using Excel or database systems
• Ensure a clean, safe, and organized work environment
• Follow all SOPs, safety rules, and regulatory requirements
• Enter and maintain warehouse activity reports using Excel and/or Word
• Unpack and sort returned products by product line
• Investigate customer complaints (blood glucose meters, strips, sensors)
• Document investigations in the Complaint Handling System
• Use troubleshooting equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, test fixtures, microscopes)
• Maintain quality records and ensure test equipment is within calibration/validity

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required
• Proficient computer skills (Microsoft Office, data entry, internet systems)
• Ability to read, write, and comprehend English
• Strong documentation skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow SOPs and written work instructions
• Ability to perform repetitive investigations with focus and accuracy
• Team-oriented mindset
• Experience in Medical Device or Biotech industry
• Technical background and electronic troubleshooting knowledge
• Inspection or Quality experience
• May be cross trained between warehouse and complaint investigation functions based on business needs
