Warehouse/Driver Associate

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Warehouse Employee with experience in handling and storing tile products. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing various warehouse duties, including receiving, safely drive a delivery vehicle to transport goods between warehouses, distribution centers, and construction jobsites and distributing materials efficiently and accurately. This role requires strong attention to detail, organization skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:

1. Receive tile shipments, verify contents, and inspect for damages.

2. Safely load and store tile products in designated warehouse locations.

3. Maintain accurate inventory records of tile materials using warehouse management system.

4. Prepare orders for shipment, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

5. Assist in loading and unloading trucks for delivery or pick-up.

6. Keep warehouse clean and organized, following safety guidelines at all times.

7. Perform regular quality checks on tile products to ensure they meet company standards.

8. Collaborate with team members to ensure efficient warehouse operations.

9. Follow proper procedures for handling hazardous materials, if applicable.

10. Help with other warehouse tasks and projects as needed.

Requirements:

1. High School Diploma or equivalent.

2. Previous experience working on a warehouse environment, with specific experience in handling tile products.

3. Knowledge of proper techniques for storing and handling tile materials to prevent damage.

4. Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, and hand trucks.

5. Strong attention to detail and accuracy in inventory management.

6. Excellent organizational skills and the ability to prioritized task effectively.

7. Good communication skills and the ability to work well in a team.

8. Physical ability to lift and move heavy tile products.

9. Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines for warehouse operations.

10. Flexibility to work additional hours as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $22.00 - $23.00 per hour
