Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Warehouse/Driver to join our dynamic team. This role combines primarily warehouse duties with seasonal driving responsibilities, ensuring efficient materials handling and delivery. The ideal candidate will possess knowledge and experience in warehouse operations, contributing to the smooth functioning of our logistics and supply chain processes.

Duties

• Operate forklifts and other materials handling equipment to move stock within the warehouse.
• Perform picking and packing of orders accurately and efficiently.
• Maintain an organised warehouse environment, ensuring that all stock is stored correctly and safely.
• Assist in loading and unloading lorries for deliveries.
• Utilise the Warehouse Management System (WMS) to track inventory levels and manage stock movements.
• Conduct regular inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning and report any mechanical issues.
• Adhere to health and safety regulations while performing all tasks.
• Build consignments for shipment, ensuring that products are securely packaged for transport.

Skills

• Familiarity with barcode scanning is advantageous.
• Previous experience in a warehouse setting, demonstrating effective materials handling skills.
• Capability to perform ooccasional heavy lifting as required by the role.
• Proficient in stock management practices, ensuring accurate inventory control.
• Experience operating forklifts and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.
• Excellent organisational skills with attention to detail in picking, packing, and stock management tasks.
