Warehouse/Forklift Operator

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Truck Helper to join our team. The Truck Helper will play a vital role in ensuring the timely and efficient loading and unloading of materials for delivery to job sites. This position requires physical stamina, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate should be able to operate a forklift and assist drivers in ensuring that materials are properly handled, organized, and delivered safely.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in loading and unloading construction materials and supplies onto and from delivery trucks.
• Safely operate a forklift to move materials within the yard, loading dock, and trucks.
• Ensure that all materials are properly secured for transport to prevent damage.
• Inspect items for quality and report any damaged or missing products.
• Maintain an organized, clean, and safe working environment in the warehouse and yard, including grass cutting and other maintenance.
• Assistance on deliveries and project clean-outs as needed
• Communicate effectively with driver and warehouse staff to coordinate delivery schedules and inventory needs.

Skills

• Proven experience as forklift operator
• Attention to detail and familiarity with industrial equipment
• Excellent physical condition and coordination
• Valid certification to operate forklifts

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
