Warehouse/Freight Coordinator

The Role - Key Responsibilities

• Load, unload, screen and pack air cargo safely and efficiently
• Operate forklifts and airside vehicles in accordance with safety procedures
• Coordinate the movement of freight throughout the cargo terminal
• Process freight documentation and complete system updates accurately
• Maintain compliance with workplace health, safety and aviation security requirements
• Conduct equipment checks and assist with general warehouse housekeeping

*This role involves regular manual handling, including lifting, carrying and moving heavy items. Candidates must be able to safely perform the inherent physical requirements of the position.*Working HoursAIRWAY operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. Following your training period, you will work across a rotating roster. Shift start times may be as early as 4:00am.

About You We're looking for reliable, safety-focused team players who enjoy working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment. The ideal candidate will have:

• Previous warehouse, logistics, freight handling or aviation experience (highly regarded but not essential)
• Good communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
• Reliability, punctuality and a positive attitude
• The ability to perform physically demanding work, including regular manual handling
• Flexibility to work a rotating roster, including weekends and overtime when required

Required Licenses:

• A current Australian Driver Licence and reliable transport
• A current LF Forklift Licence, or willingness to obtain one
• The ability to obtain and maintain an ASIC
