Warehouseman

About the role

The Warehouseman is responsible for the receiving, storage, handling, and releasing of materials, supplies, and equipment, ensuring accurate inventory records and proper warehouse organization to support project and operational requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Receive, inspect, and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery receipts
• Properly store materials, tools, and equipment in designated warehouse locations for easy retrieval and inventory control
• Release materials and supplies to requesting departments or project sites based on approved request forms
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date inventory records (manual and/or system-based)
• Conduct regular physical inventory counts and reconcile discrepancies with warehouse records
• Monitor stock levels and report low stock or reorder points to the Warehouse Supervisor
• Ensure proper labeling, tagging, and organization of stored items
• Load and unload materials safely using proper handling equipment and techniques
• Maintain cleanliness, orderliness, and safety of the warehouse area
• Coordinate with Purchasing, Construction Management, and Operations for material requirements and deliveries

About you

• High school graduate; vocational course or college-level education an advantage
• Preferably with BOSH or COSH Training
• At least 1 year of experience in warehouse, inventory, or logistics work; fresh graduates with relevant training may be considered
• Basic knowledge of inventory management and record-keeping practices
• Familiarity with basic computer applications (MS Excel) an advantage
• Able to perform manual labor, including lifting and prolonged standing
• Honest, trustworthy, and able to handle accountability for company materials and equipment
• Good organizational and time-management skills
• Willing to work on-site at the warehouse or assigned project site
