About the role

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable Warehouseman to join the team at INGCOPH TRADERS Inc. in Tanauan, Leyte. This is a full-time position that plays a vital role in ensuring the smooth operation of our warehouse facilities and the efficient distribution of retail and consumer products. As a Warehouseman, you will be responsible for managing inventory, organising stock, and maintaining warehouse operations to support our retail business objectives. This position is essential to maintaining our high standards of product availability and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Receiving, unloading and inspecting incoming shipments of retail and consumer products
• Organising and storing products in the warehouse using proper storage methods and locations
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts to ensure accuracy
• Preparing orders for dispatch by picking, packing and labelling items according to customer requirements
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks safely and efficiently
• Maintaining a clean, safe and organised warehouse environment in compliance with health and safety regulations
• Rotating stock using the FIFO (First In, First Out) method to minimise product wastage
• Assisting with inventory management and reporting any discrepancies or damaged goods
• Collaborating with team members to meet daily and weekly warehouse targets

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a warehouse or logistics environment
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks and hand trucks safely
• Strong organisational and attention to detail skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks
• Physical capability to lift and move heavy items regularly throughout the day
• Good communication and teamwork abilities to collaborate effectively with colleagues
• Reliability and punctuality with a strong work ethic and commitment to meeting targets
• Knowledge of inventory management systems and basic computer literacy (preferred)
• Understanding of health and safety procedures in warehouse environments (preferred)
• Flexibility to adapt to changing warehouse demands and priorities
