Warehouseman (Project Based)

What you'll be doing

• Receiving, unloading and inspecting incoming materials and products to ensure accuracy and quality standards
• Organizing and storing materials in designated warehouse locations using appropriate storage systems
• Maintaining accurate inventory records and conducting regular stock counts to ensure warehouse accuracy
• Preparing orders for dispatch by picking, packing and labelling items according to customer requirements
• Loading and securing products onto transport vehicles in a safe and efficient manner
• Operating warehouse equipment such as forklifts and pallet jacks (where certified)
• Maintaining cleanliness and organization of warehouse spaces, aisles and storage areas
• Adhering to all health and safety regulations and company warehouse procedures
• Supporting project-specific warehouse initiatives and assisting with temporary assignments as required
• Communicating with team members and management regarding inventory levels, discrepancies and operational issues

What we're looking for

• Proven experience working in a warehouse or distribution center environment
• Physical capability to lift, carry and move items regularly throughout your shift
• Ability to operate warehouse equipment safely, including forklifts or other material handling machinery (certification preferred)
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy when managing inventory and processing orders
• Good organizational skills and the ability to work methodically in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to follow health and safety procedures and maintain a safe working environment
• Flexibility and willingness to adapt to project-based requirements and varying workloads
• Basic computer literacy for warehouse management systems
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Clear communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a team
