Duties

• Perform general cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal across warehouse and office spaces
• Operate cleaning equipment such as floor buffers, vacuums, and scrubbers to ensure high-quality sanitation and floor care
• Handle chemical agents safely during cleaning processes following proper chemical handling safety procedures
• Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, break areas, and common spaces to promote hygiene and safety standards
• Assist with light maintenance tasks such as replacing supplies, minor repairs, or painting as needed
• Follow safety protocols during heavy lifting and manual handling activities to prevent injuries
• Support facilities maintenance by reporting any damages or hazards promptly for swift resolution

Skills

• Proven experience in janitorial or custodial roles within commercial or industrial settings
• Strong knowledge of cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning equipment including floor buffers and industrial vacuums
• Ability to handle chemical agents safely with adherence to chemical handling safety procedures
• Physical stamina for heavy lifting and manual handling tasks while maintaining safe lifting practices
• Excellent attention to detail with a focus on cleanliness and safety compliance
• Good communication skills to coordinate with team members and report issues effectively
