Warehouse/Shipping Associate

The ideal candidate for our Warehouse/Shipping Associate role will possess an interest in working with their hands and adhering to a strong attention to detail. We are seeking an associate to work within our shipping/packing/fulfillment team in our warehouse. This position involves considerable time on your feet throughout the day and considerable pushing/pulling/lifting/carrying within our warehouse as this role is primarily responsible for packing/shipping duties. This position also includes considerable computer time for processing shipments and invoicing. Ideally seeking someone with 3+ years experience in a shipping/fulfillment role within a manufacturer warehouse setting and experience in oversight/management of a small team.

Applicant should ideally have a passion for all types of music, the arts, and consumer electronics as well as an interest in working amongst a small team with a variety of duties that are subject to change day to day. An ability to remain self directed through much of the day and a competence with computers is required.

Responsibilities

• Stocking and picking products in the warehouse
• Assembling and packing boxes for shipment
• Use of computer to generate shipping labels and update internal production/fulfillment software
• Keeping shipping/warehouse spaces clean and organized
• Assisting with inventory counts and organization
• Packaging individual products
• Conducting QC checks and equipment tests
• Adherence to any and all safety measures related to the position and company policy
• Potential oversight/management of others
• Remote work is not available for this position

Qualifications

• Strong attention to detail
• Strong organizational skills
• Ability to be on your feet for the majority of the day and to carry out push/pull/lift/carry tasks is required for this position
• Strong computer skills required
• Experience with shipping software strongly recommended
• High School Diploma required
• 3 years minimum work experience in shipping/fulfillment role strongly recommended, ideally in a manufacturing/warehouse setting, and with experience in oversight/management of others

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40.0 per week
