Warehouse/Yard Material Handler

We are a growing wholesale fence distributor supplying contractors and businesses with high-quality fencing materials. Our team takes pride in efficiency, safety, and strong customer service, and we’re looking for a dependable individual to join our yard operations.

Position Summary:
The Warehouse/Yard Material Handler is responsible for the safe and efficient handling of fencing materials in a fast-paced outdoor warehouse & yard environment. This role involves loading and unloading trucks, organizing inventory, and assisting customers with their orders.

Key Responsibilities:

• Load customer trucks and trailers with fencing materials, including large bundles of pipe, skids of chain link wire, and hardware
• Operate a forklift to unload incoming shipments and move materials throughout the yard
• Receive, inspect, and organize inventory accurately
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
• Assist customers with order fulfillment and ensure accurate loading
• Follow all safety procedures and company policies

Qualifications:

• Forklift experience preferred, but not required (training available for the right candidate)
• Ability to lift and handle heavy materials regularly
• Strong work ethic and reliability
• Comfortable working outdoors in various weather conditions
• Attention to detail and ability to stay organized
• Team-oriented mindset with good communication skills

Schedule:

• Monday–Friday, 7:30a-4p with occasional overtime as needed

Compensation & Benefits:

• Competitive hourly pay (based on experience)
• Opportunity for overtime

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 40.0 per week
