Wargaming Research & Systems Analyst — White Cell

About the role

Anduril is building a new operation in Abu Dhabi, and the simulation center is at the heart of it. The center exists to train customers on our capabilities, improve current and future products, and validate that what we deliver works as intended from day one.

As a Wargaming Research & Systems Analyst on the White Cell, you’re the referee and scenario designer for tactical warfare simulations. You’ll build the wargame, set the rules, control the simulation environment and decide what data to collect. After every run, you’ll analyze the results and turn them into insight for product teams and customers. You’ll be one of the first technical hires in the region, helping shape how the center works from the start.

What you’ll do

• Design tactical wargame scenarios and set the rules of engagement
• Control the simulation environment during runs
• Decide what data to capture and analyze results after each run
• Report findings to engineering, product and customer teams
• Work with the Red Cell to keep scenarios realistic and challenging

What we’re looking for

• Military or defense operational background (NATO or Five Eyes experience strongly preferred)
• Strong operational analysis skills
• Experience in modeling and simulation, ideally including scenario design
• Working proficiency in Python or MATLAB (you don’t need to be a software engineer)
• Strong communication skills, including presenting analysis to non-specialists
• Ability to obtain and maintain the required security clearances
