What they need
- Validates, document, and execute warranty claims to ensure cost recovery and customer satisfaction
- Logs the initial customer claim by matching it to the specific product, serial number, and purchase data.
- Check whether the defect occurred within the defined warranty period and complies with the warranty terms and conditions.
- Confirm the proof of purchase and determine whether the customer is the original owner or whether the warranty is transferable.
- Reviews the technician's notes, diagnostic test result and photos to determine the root cause of the failure.
- For complex repairs with a high cost of repair, the processor shall approve the labor provision and parts requisitions before the work starts.
- Identifies whether the damage is due to a manufacturing defect (covered under warranty) or is caused by customer misuse, abuse, or normal wear and tear.
- Calculates the reimbursement breakdown for parts, labor, and shipping costs based on the provider's flat-rate manual or the applicable warranty reimbursement guidelines and standards.
- Issues parts tags for defective components, segregates warranty inventory, and prepares parts for disposal or return to the manufacturer.
- Analyzes claim data to identify failure trends, allowing engineering and manufacturing tearms to approve product quality.
- Keeps records of VHD/ Customer's transactions and interactions
- As needs arises, attends to the requests of VHD on providing pictures of unit in process.
