Waste Officer Internship

About the role

This position will be placed in the BMGA Department. You will observe and map the current waste management business processes, identify obstacles and improvement opportunities in both administrative and operational aspects of Waste Management, and design and develop a digital system to digitalize waste recording, monitoring, and reporting processes.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct observation and mapping of current waste management business processes.
• Identify obstacles and improvement opportunities in both administrative and operational aspects of Waste Management.
• Design and develop a digital system (Google Form, Google Spreadsheet, AppSheet, Power Apps, or other platforms) according to operational needs.
• Digitalize processes for waste recording, requests, pickups, stock monitoring, manifests, and reporting.
• Develop a Waste Management data monitoring dashboard that is easy to understand and use for users.

About you

• Bachelor's Degree (S1) in Environmental Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Understanding of business process mapping and waste management processes.
• Proficiency in digital tools such as Google Form, Google Spreadsheet, AppSheet, Power Apps, or other similar platforms.
• Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and good communication skills.
• Willing to intern for 6 months.
• Only open to graduates who are still eligible to register for the MagangHub Batch 3 program.
